Sofia Tenorio Fenton

Sofia is part of the WCF Healthy Planet team that works with cocoa-producing countries and leading chocolate and cocoa companies to end cocoa-driven deforestation and promote climate action. In her role as Senior Environment Associate, Sofia provides technical and programmatic support for the implementation of programs and initiatives in West Africa and Latin America including the Climate Smart Cocoa Program and the Cocoa & Forests Initiative.

Prior to that, Sofia worked in the design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research aiming to solve pressing environmental challenges and promote sustainability. Sofia holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Universidad la Salle A.C in Mexico City, Mexico. Sofia is a native Spanish speaker fluent in English and French.
