Nikole Ottolia
Communications and Membership Associate, World Cocoa FoundationNikole Ottolia serves the World Cocoa Foundation as a Communications and Membership Associate where she directs social media strategy, membership engagement, and the annual WCF Partnership Meeting.
Prior to joining WCF, Nikole received dual Master’s degrees in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS in Washington DC and Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. She holds a B.A. in Hispanic Studies and Communications from Boston College.
Nikole has work experience spanning the non-profit, private, and multi-lateral sectors with organizations such as RE/MAX, the Pan-American Health Organization and the World Bank Group. Nikole has lived and studied all around the world (United States, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Nicaragua, China and Brazil) and is a native Spanish speaker thanks to her Argentinian and Puerto Rican parents and speaks fluent Brazilian Portuguese. Nikole also has notions of French, Italian, Mandarin Chinese and plans to learn Russian with the hope of reading the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky in the original language. She is a trained dancer who has recently fallen in love with figure skating and competes in Sprint Triathlons when inspired.
