Lawyer and Government Relations and Policy Strategist, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP

For more than twenty years, Jennifer McCadney’s practice has included a mix of law and policy.  As both a lawyer and government relations and policy strategist, Jennifer helps companies and organizations identify, advance and/or defend their interests in the legal, political and regulatory arenas.  Jennifer’s approach to problem-solving is drawn from her experience as a Congressional staffer and private sector advocate, and emphasizes a deep policy understanding that is supported by her relationship-building and management skills.

Jennifer is dedicated to overcoming obstacles and resolving challenges that often involve a legal, political and/or regulatory nexus. She understands the connection between the implementation of long-term goals and execution of discrete objectives.  Jennifer works with businesses from a variety of industries including manufacturing, metals, apparel and footwear, agriculture, food and consumer products, representing both individual companies and trade associations.  She also advises on coalition building and collaboration with civil society organizations.

Jennifer advises on the use of trade tools to address forced labor and sustainability concerns, supply chain monitoring and product traceability, tariff preferences and reductions, retaliatory tariffs (Section 301 and 232), trade agreements, market access, and enforcement of U.S. customs and trade remedy laws.
