Emmanuel Akorli serves as Finance Operations Associate at the World Cocoa Foundation based in Accra. He provides operations and finance support, monitoring and managing day-to-day finance activities. Emmanuel previously interned with WCF on the Cocoa Livelihoods Program, African Cocoa Initiative Phase II, Climate Smart Cocoa, and other projects before he joined the finance and operations team.
Prior to joining WCF in 2017, Emmanuel worked in the health, insurance, and security sectors where he performed finance and accounts-related duties. He also served as a volunteer for The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana in 2013/14 to assist national efforts aimed at improving the socio-economic and political lives of the general population and advocated for initiatives that promote educational and other programs aimed at responsible family life.
Emmanuel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast-Ghana. He obtained a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from the Accra Technical University-Ghana.
