Elizabeth Burst
Senior Finance Associate, World Cocoa FoundationElizabeth Burst serves as the Senior Finance Associate with the Finance and Operations team at World Cocoa Foundation. She provides operational and financial support; monitoring and managing day-to-day finance activities along with support for audit, budget, and year end preparation.
Elizabeth graduated from Miami University in 2014 co-majoring in Environmental Earth Sciences and Sustainability. She interned with World Cocoa Foundation for the Cocoa Livelihoods Program in the Summer of 2014 before spending a year working in Paris working for the French Ministry of Transport.
She returned to WCF a second time in the summer of 2015 as an Operations Assistant before travelling to Taiwan and Switzerland as part of the International Farmers Exchange program. Overseas she worked on farms with a wide variety of crops, climates and infrastructure, providing her insight into the challenges faced by cocoa producers in different regions.
Returning stateside in 2016, she became a full time member of the Operations and Finance Team working to steward WCF resources to best represent our members in efforts to promote cocoa sustainability and provide cocoa farmers with the support they need to produce quality cocoa and strengthen their communities.
