Caroline Lubbers is co-founder of the consultancy company Equipoise for market access of sustainable cocoa & chocolate. Equipoise is working on market driven initiatives to ensure continuity through sustainable practices. We believe there is a business case for sustainability in every stage of the supply chain. One of Caroline’s initiatives is Chocoa, the largest dedicated cocoa trade fair and conferences on sustainability, yearly held in Amsterdam. The annual meeting place for cocoa and chocolate stakeholders from all over the world to showcase their products to customers, facilitating networking and growing businesses. Together we bring progress to sustainability and create consumer awareness to develop a market for sustainable chocolate. Since its launch she is also actively involved in the Women in Cocoa & Chocolate network (WINCC) to connect, engage and inspire women leaders. As a certified chocolate taster, Caroline is the first Dutch chocolate sommelier.
