Alvin Lee is the Commercial Director for Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate in Asia Pacific. He leads the business unit’s trading, risk management and international physical sourcing efforts in the region which feed the group’s cocoa processing asset in Gresik, Indonesia.
Before joining Cargill in early 2015, Alvin was responsible for the regional dairy sourcing and risk management for Kerry Ingredients. Prior to that, Alvin worked for ADM Cocoa for over 6 years in both Singapore and the United States in a variety of trading & sourcing roles.
Alvin is based in Singapore and also currently serves as Chairman of the Cocoa Association of Asia, the leading industry body that represents the interest of the cocoa & chocolate industry in Asia Pacific. In his time with the CAA, he has overseen the successful organizing of 2 international conferences and the creation of an Asia cocoa benchmark
