Overview:

The program aims to improve farmers’ and market intermediaries’ understanding of price determination, quality standards and the cocoa supply chain.  This will occur through a series of workshops through which stakeholders will form partnerships to address quality improvement issues.  The project will by active in Palawan, Camarines Sur and Iloilo.

Program Objectives:

• Conduct three cocoa market development workshops on price determination, quality standards, and the cocoa supply chain.

• Develop six partnership models for improving dissemination of market information, transparency of the supply chain and quality.
