Welcome to the official consumer website of the World Cocoa Foundation. We are proud to have this opportunity to tell you a little about the wonderful world of cocoa. However, before you begin exploring, we'd like to share with you the steps we have taken to ensure that our online visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Our Websites and Kids
We take seriously our responsibility to our many young consumers. As members of the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) division of the Better Business Bureau, we strive to adhere to their guidelines. If you are 18 years of age or younger, take a moment to review this information with your parents. And, please, get your parents' permission before providing any personal information by e-mail (not only on our web sites, but everywhere.)
Visitors
Our Web server automatically recognizes a visitor's domain name. However, it does not recognize visitor's e-mail addresses. Domain name information, aggregate information about which pages consumers access or visit, and any information volunteered by visitors is used only for internal review as we continue to improve our Website. E-mail addresses of those corresponding via this site are discarded after we respond. Information gathered from these sites is not shared with other organizations for any other purposes.
Registration
We do not require visitors to register before entering the World Cocoa Foundation site.
Any personal information you provide is used only to supply the information or services you request. It is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes, nor is it used for unsolicited follow-up contacts from us.
