Collecting Data on Farm Labor Practices
The upcoming cocoa farming certification report from the Government of Ghana is based on a detailed survey of more than 500 farms across the country’s cocoa sector.
Trained surveyors visited farms and farming communities. Using a carefully developed questionnaire, they collected information on labor practices and related issues.
In total, the districts visited produce more than 10% of Ghana’s total cocoa production.
